Kudan’s Augmented or Mixed Reality Framework allows the mixing of Audio and Visual content with both real and digital content. As that all sounds a bit of a mouthful – here’s a real world example. We are asked to use augmented reality to bring YogiTea’s ‘Revitalise’ tea box alive with mediation and Yoga hints.

Kudan’s Mixed Reality framework includes 3D packaging recognition – we identify the standard tea box and overlay a model of Buddha and mixed audio to play a Buddhist chant at the same time. Our framework calculates the distance between the mobile device and the package and so as Buddha moves nearer, the chanting gets louder. Tapping the screen starts Buddha’s journey around the box, demonstrating our ability to hide buddha when he is ‘behind’ the package. Finally, when the box is opened, a video containing a daily spiritual update is streamed and overlaid on the lid of the box.
